1. Lightweight structure, economical and practical:
It adopts a single main beam (usually I-beam or box beam) structure. Compared with double-beam bridge cranes, it has lighter deadweight and lower load-bearing requirements for factory building structures.
The manufacturing cost is relatively low, and the installation and transportation costs are also more advantageous. The overall investment cost is small and the cost performance is high.
2. Simple operation and flexible operation:
It mainly relies on the electric hoist (usually a wire rope electric hoist) suspended under the main beam for vertical lifting operations.
The entire crane (trolley) can run longitudinally along the tracks on both sides of the factory.
The electric hoist (trolley) can run horizontally along the track on the lower flange of the main beam.
It is usually equipped with ground handle operation or wireless remote control operation. The operator can flexibly follow and control on the ground, with good vision, simple and intuitive operation.
3. Wide coverage:
Through the longitudinal operation of the trolley and the lateral operation of the trolley, it can be flexibly moved and accurately positioned to the position where lifting is required in the entire rectangular working area (span x length), effectively covering the working area.
4. Moderate working level (A3-A5):
2.5 tons belongs to small and medium tonnage, and its design working level is usually A3 (light) to A5 (medium). This means that it is suitable for occasions with medium frequency of use and medium load rate, such as:
Material handling (parts, semi-finished products, finished products) within the workshop.
Equipment installation and maintenance.
Loading and unloading, stacking in the warehouse.
Feeding the assembly line.
Not suitable for extremely high strength, continuous heavy load and other metallurgical scenes.
5. Relatively simple installation and maintenance:
Simple structure, relatively standardized components (especially electric hoists), installation and commissioning are more convenient than large double-beam cranes.
Daily maintenance (such as lubrication, inspection of wire ropes, brakes, etc.) is also relatively convenient, and the maintenance cost is relatively low.
